Range of cable management system solutions framework and supporting
steel structures with cable tray systems to carry cabling, both copper and optical fibre and the
associated connectivity in telephone exchanges. All cable management system products in the range were
developed in association with Telstra and certain cable management system & cable trays are used exclusively
by Telstra.
Range of cable management system products offer a mezzanine floor as full support for
communication cable trays, fibre-optic and separate cable tray system support for power and earth
cables. Personnel may walk on the mezzanine floor
for both cable management installation and maintenance purposes. The cable management system products include access
stairs and safety rails for the safety and convenience of cable management personnel.
Mezzanine floor - 'Overhead Planar Shelf' is supported by
'Suite/End Support' frames. These are
installed in rows and 1251 mm spacing. that allows floor space
1200 mm wide x 600 to 1000 mm deep for installation of various cabinets or racks
for telecommunication equipments.
Maximum load of cables on Overhead Planar Shelf is 140 kg /
lin. metre / cable tray.
Optical pigtails require installation of 'Optical Ducting'
(purchased separately) However mounting supports for above are in supplied
cable management system modules.
The cable management system products provide lateral stability for the top end of
equipment and cable connectivity racks which may not be designed to be
self-supporting in the free-standing mode. Components are included to address
isolation of different earth planes.
All cable management system products and cable tray system parts surface finishes are to Telstra/Breseight standard
and prevent building whiskers.
